Ahead

No alarm clock had a hand in waking her up this morning. The crack around her bedroom doorframe was the only indication that the day had begun. It is officially the first day of school break. As she stretched in bed, she thought of the day that stretched ahead. All the possibilities, all the choices that are hers to make lay ahead. It was gonna be a good day filled with little adventures. Faith

Faith is when you nip your potflower in the dying, whithering bud because it’s Spring time and one needs to make room for the new. Watering that plant is no longer a burden or a redundant exercise. But is it still faith in the absence of the guarantee? I don’t know… The flower’s job is none of my business. So I will keep watering, doing my part. Because, that is my business.
